Join us for a beginner-friendly introduction to the sacred tradition of Veda chanting, a vital part of the Yoga tradition. This series centers on two powerful hymns: Agni Suktam, invoking inner clarity, transformation, and the spark of spiritual insight, and Medha Suktam, honoring wisdom, memory, and the nurturing energy that supports learning and growth.
Students will learn proper Sanskrit pronunciation, traditional chanting rules, and simple techniques to support steady, confident recitation. Along the way, we explore the deeper spiritual significance of these mantras—how their vibrations cultivate focus, uplift the mind, and connect us to the living lineage of Vedic wisdom.
No prior experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to listen, repeat, and experience the power of sacred sound.
  • Pronunciation fundamentals of Sanskrit sounds and syllables
  • Traditional chanting rules including pitch, rhythm, and intonation
  • The significance and lineage of Veda chanting
  • Breath and focus practices that support clarity and ease of recitation
No prior experience with Sanskrit or chanting is required. Each session emphasizes attentive listening, repetition, and mindful practice, creating a supportive environment where students can build confidence and appreciation for this ancient oral tradition.
Whether you’re drawn to the spiritual, linguistic, or meditative aspects of Vedic chanting, this class offers a meaningful introduction that honors authenticity, tradition, and the power of sacred sound.
