Death Cafe
Quarterly on Fridays in person at the WMC 6:30 - 9:30pm with Kate Miller onsite only. Donation based offering. You can donate HERE or in person at the WMC. The next one is Friday March 4th.
Death Cafés offer the opportunity to meet in a confidential, safe, and caring environment to discuss death and dying. Thoughts, feelings, and experiences are all relevant. We welcome participants of any background, religion, culture, or belief.
The Death Café model, followed all over the world, is no cost with no pre-formulated agenda. Please note that this is not a grief support or counseling group, although grief can certainly be discussed.
Many report that participating in Death Cafés reduces their anxiety about death and dying (their own or their loved ones’), which can enhance the way we live in the present. Most people leave feeling connected and uplifted. The conversation is facilitated by Kate Miller
